meet Daniel brian de vito, attorney at law

Daniel De Vito, Esq. is a Pennsylvania licensed Attorney based in St. Marys, Pennsylvania. He founded De Vito Law Office, LLC in January 2023 to provide clients with legal representation and counsel in Western and Central Pennsylvania.

Mr. De Vito received his law degree from the University of Akron School of Law, where he was an honors fellow. During and after law school he provided law clerk services to a large emergency medicine and hospitalist provider, a civil law firm focused on medical malpractice and commercial litigation, and criminal law attorneys. He served as the Judicial Law Clerk for the Court of Common Pleas of the 59th Judicial District (Elk and Cameron Counties), working daily with the President Judge and Senior Judges from across the region and gaining deep insight into the legal reasoning behind Court decisions.

In private practice, Mr. De Vito has represented both consumers in consumer protection matters and businesses involved in commercial disputes. He has successfully provided criminal defense representation for clients facing felony, misdemeanor, and summary charges from Preliminary Hearings through the Court of Common Pleas, along with appellate and PCRA representation. Mr. De Vito has also represented a municipal sewer authority in a matter pending before the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, resulting in a favorable settlement. He previously served as the solicitor for the former Elk County Treasurer, providing legal counsel on matters affecting that public office.
